Hamilton Watches was the first of many watch clients that Mach 2 includes in its client portfolio.
Mach 2 Management was initially hired by Hamilton Watches to transport their 20’x20’ display aircraft to malls, events, stores, and shopping plazas across the nation. The aircraft is an exact replica of the current aerobatic aircraft that Hamilton sponsors. A large portion of Hamilton’s business and heritage is focused on aviation watches so the display is used to target that sector and to gain awareness of the brand. We were tasked to do the improbable and display the aircraft not only on the floor of these venues but on roofs and hanging from ceilings!

Two dedicated Mach 2 team members are assigned with uninstalling the aircraft and its other display pieces at one location, disassembling, driving it in a dedicated truck, and installing it once again for a new audience to view.
While usually on display ground level at malls, some venues feature the aircraft mounted on ceilings or on top of buildings for increased visual appeal. We were tasked with hanging the aircraft from the ceiling over a center court at one mall. The planning took over a month and involved hiring a professional rigging company to hoist the aircraft up using a custom system of pulleys. The job took over five hours
but once it was complete it was the talk of the town!
When Hamilton wanted to put the aircraft on the roof of a building during peak tornado season in Illinois, our team was able to design a custom base that would make the aircraft look as if it were taking off from the building. We accomplished it safely and in record time.
After realizing our vast capabilities, Hamilton asked us to handle another one of their events. We secured the Hamilton AirVenture booth in August of 2012 and have been warehousing and installing the booth ever since. Hamilton relies on us to handle their entire operation at AirVenture, and major events throughout the country.
Hamilton and Mach 2 have generated a great partnership. Together we are working on new and exciting ways to reach their customers.
