To achieve this goal, we identified and negotiated with select air shows across the country, securing time for the aircraft portraying the main character in the film series (Dusty) to do flyovers and “personal” appearances. With this, we arranged for booth space for the accompanying display, provided a project manager to assist at each air show, assisted in setting up interviews, and distribution of materials. We also produced the PA announcements, routine, and music for the flyovers. E-newsletters were drafted to provide additional opportunities for aviation community outreach.
Mach 2 Management produced six month tours for both movies, with each tour being activated at over fifteen events and air shows.
