AirVenture, located in Oshkosh, WI, is an annual gathering of aviation enthusiasts, celebrating flight with daily air shows, aircraft building seminars, and various vendor exhibitions.

 

Wittman Regional Airport becomes the world’s busiest airport during this week with an estimated 10-15,000 aircraft and over 700,000 people from all over the world visiting each year.

 

AirVenture also provides an incredible opportunity for Mach 2 Management to put all of our abilities on display. 

During the week long event, we have multiple clients on site, including the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA), Mooney International Corporation, Gogo Business Aviation, Hamilton Swiss Watches, the Pacific Aviation Museum Pearl Harbor, and the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA).  Each client ranges in size and scope but all receive the same level of service and detail from our staff.  Our many roles typically include:

 

  • Sponsorship negotiations

  • Display warehousing and transportation

  • Display design and build

  • Event staffing

  • Hotel, credential, and hospitality accommodations

  • Data capture

Going beyond the exhibit area, one can find Mach 2 Management busy at work on “The Gathering,” which is a fundraiser for the Young Eagles program.  This program and the fundraising gala raise proceeds to allow young aviation enthusiasts to take a free flight to further develop their interest in aviation.

AirVenture

Come nightfall, Mach 2 Management is still on site working both the Fly In Theater and Theater in the Woods.  The Fly In Theater is a nightly open air movie, created by Mach 2 Management, that is free to all.  Prior to the showing of aviation themed films, we conduct interviews with a star from each film.  This has included stars such as Harrison Ford and John Travolta.

 

Happening at the same time is the Theater in the Woods, the prime venue on the grounds to enjoy programming associated with notable aviation figureheads, celebrities, historical pilots and the like.

 

We assist in creating these nightly interviews, round-tables, and other intimate productions by lining up talent for each evening, depending on theme, and assist in making sure the talent arrives on time, his/her handlers and guests are taken care of, and all needed media content (video, presentations, etc) is properly prepared ahead of time.
